Charles has always had a passion for the outdoors and exploring the beauty that abounds all around us; from his years as a boy scout to today, Charles finds joy and relaxation in hiking, backpacking, fly-fishing, and traveling.  He has traveled to all 50 states in the union and is over halfway through all the National Parks, a life-long goal and focus.  When he is not on the trail or road, Charles enjoys firing up his woodshop and working with his hands around his home.

Charles has been practicing architecture and project management for over 23 years.  Throughout his career, Charles has worked on a diverse range of projects, clients, and environments, allowing him to draw from a wealth of experiences to tackle challenges as they arise.  His unique experiences in both traditional design service roles and private owner representative roles provides a unique perspective to pulling together and executing on successful projects. 

Charles has a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Charleston.
