Land Development for a New Office Building

The project consisted of a new 8,200 sf office building and a 3,600 sf workshop, a 50 space parking lot, and utilities. Farnsworth Group’s services included a site topographic survey, construction drawings to include site layout, pavement design, grading, erosion control, utility plan with storm sewer design, on-site domestic water design, on-site detention design, and a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.

The project site was very flat and no underground storm sewer was located on the site. Farnsworth Group designed a shallow detention basin to meet local stormwater requirements, pursued and obtained local approvals.
